Richard Saporito, founder of Topserve, has been a restaurant/hotel service consultant and waiter trainer for over 20 years—- in many diverse and profitable establishments.
Also a noted author and keynote speaker, he has helped hundreds of businesses in the NYC/Metro Area, nationally and around the World ranging from small independent start-ups to large scale corporate operations.
Richard began his career as a Waiter in NYC circa 1986 for the nationally recognized Ark Restaurants Corp. which only had 4 restaurants at the time. This awesome, pro-active company grew to over 30 restaurants including such notable and profitable operations such as Bryant Park Cafe/Grill in NYC and New York, New York in Las Vegas.
Over the course of his 15 years of waiting tables in different restaurants within the Ark Corporation, he had trained hundreds of waiters.
Then finally, he started training experienced managers to run some very large dining rooms properly–simply to reduce the number of work shift staff headaches.
After training managers a number of times, Richard decided it was time to break off on his own becoming a Restaurant Service Consultant and Waiter/Staff Trainer.
It was a life changing and obviously correct decision as his past well known clients will attest.
Richard is now a Revenue Enhancement Service Expert for Restaurants/Hotels facilitating both Management and Waiter/Dining Room Service Staff to work together in an organized, structured and highly effective manner.
This results in higher morale, better work productivity making for an increased bottom line.
In the last few years, he has traveled to different parts of the world (most recently Europe, Carribean and Asia) where he has shared his expertise with Restaurant and Hotel Owners/Operators, Managers and Waiters/Dining Room Service Staffs.
