What about the systems and procedures on a Navy ship and how a restaurant benefits from having a similar structure.  I&#039;ve never been in the Navy so I can&#039;t say for fact, but I can imagine that there is a standard protocol for any predictable situation that might arise on the ship.  Now everyone knows that restaurants have some of the most un predictable situations, but a strong foundation of systems and procedures for those things you can foresee happening is a huge advantage.</description>

And, just as the crew of a ship must be able to quickly adjust to changes, the same is true of restaurant workers who have to professionally and courteously accommodate the needs of various customers and fluctuations in the numbers of diners being served.
